Future Genesis
Oakley x Kamp Grizzly
intro
Commissioned by Kamp Grizzly, Revenant was thrilled to work with Oakley to revive their 1992 brand campaign that introduced Max Fearlight, mad scientist and visionary who symbolised the rebellious spirit of Oakley. Under the banner of 'Future Genesis,' the narrative continues thirty years later with two short cinematics - one depicting Max now occupying a protopian digital bunker, and another introducing his brave young daughter, Maxine Fearlight, in a bid to unite past and future. Working with a major global brand using CG for storytelling and brand building was a highly rewarding opportunity for the studio. Knowing Oakley has an unconventional approach to marketing, we had to ensure what we created resonated with their ethos and the evolution of their company.
