Intro
Commissioned by Phoenix Labs, Revenant had the exciting opportunity to create seven stylised cinematics for Everhaven, a multiplayer sandbox action-adventure game which has since been discontinued. Each cutscene illustrated in vivid detail the backstory for each hero character, crafted in a 3D pipeline in accordance with a beautiful 2.5D style. We fell in love with the richly detailed world of Everhaven and it was our honour to work in close collaboration with the creators to develop a bespoke approach to each cutscene to bring these lovingly crafted characters’ stories to life, while maintaining integrity to the visual and worldbuilding principles established by the client.
Collaborating with Revenant on Everhaven was a pleasure from start to finish. They took on an ambitious task of producing seven distinct hero cinematics in a unified 2.5D style and became more than just a supplier - they were a true collaborative partner. The Revenant team rose to the challenge with passion and precision.
The resulting cutscenes captured the soul of Everhaven - rich, cinematic, and full of character. It was a genuine pleasure working with such a talented and dedicated team. Do yourself a favour and work with these people.
