Bio
Simon is a Mixed-Media Director based in Sydney, Australia.
Simon’s career as a Director spans nearly 20 years across London and Sydney. Entirely self-taught, he started out as a freelance Designer and Animator in London in the early 00’s before joining Nexus Productions in 2005 as a Commercials Director, working on spots for Nike, Adidas, The Guardian and Save the Children amongst others. This was followed by Director roles at Engine Sydney, Animal Logic Sydney, MPC in London, and then back to Sydney as the Creative Director at Sixty40 where he remained until 2018.
Simon is presently keeping busy as a freelance Director, working on a variety of commercial projects that benefit from his extensive mixed-media experience.
Working with Us
Revenant has been a long time fan of Simon’s work, stemming back from his short informative film ‘What Barry Says’, in 2004. Since then Simon has worked with the team on a variety of pitches and commercial work, including a competition film for a new architectural build in Riyadh.
