Having studied photography in post-secondary education, Olaf transitioned seamlessly into the world of motion. Beginning with small-scale projects like short films and music videos, he gained recognition with his first short film featuring the visually stunning Hello World robot. Since then, Olaf has immersed himself in the visual effects industry, contributing as a 3D Generalist, Compositor, and Director. His portfolio spans collaborations with boutique agencies to global giants such as Netflix, ESA, Marvel, and Apple. Olaf’s journey is characterized by ongoing growth and an unwavering commitment to excellence in visual effects.
Working with Us
Olaf has directed several projects with Revenant, notably ‘Life Beyond Earth,’ a four-minute full-feature animation that employs cutting-edge techniques for a short film. This project was showcased at the Venice Biennale, part of a global architectural event aimed at promoting the first Moon colony.
Known for his technical proficiency, Olaf collaborates seamlessly with the team to deliver projects that are not only visually striking in composition but also gain maximum impact.
