Khurram is a Director and Screenwriter based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Khurram grew up as a creative rebel in Pakistan, where society pushed traditional careers. He discovered a passion for art through action comics, which led to his eternal obsession with video games, animation, and film. Khurram briefly studied storytelling at the Joe Kubert School of Graphic Art(US), followed by a degree at the Indus Valley School of Art and Architecture. Graduating in 2005, he became a commercial content director in advertising. It was then that he discovered Zbrush and entered the world of licenses, toys, and collectibles, becoming a renowned digital sculptor. In 2012, he moved to Dubai to work as a creative director for theme park visualizations (Statues, Rides and Experiences). However, 2013 would be the breakthrough year when Khurram joined the first animated feature project in the Middle East. Having developed his writing and filmmaking skills, Khurram transformed the script into one that was feature-worthy. He directed “Bilal” while collaborating with top-tier talent and developed a second animated feature, “Mirlo and the Magical Opus.” He is currently the Chief Creative Officer at Barajoun Studios in Dubai and also pursues his passion for storytelling, pitching to streamers and executives in the US.
