Axl Le is an award-winning CG Director from Shanghai, China, now based in Oslo, Norway.
As a visually oriented Director, Axl is drawn to creatively styled visuals. Yet, he recognizes that without a compelling story to underpin it, the work can lose its luster and become unengaging. Axl firmly believes that work should either resonate emotionally or possess a unique novelty. While impactful visuals can offer a surge of sensory satisfaction akin to adrenaline, Axl contends that the enduring impact stems from the captivating core of the narrative, which is what truly moves and resonates with people.
Working with Us
Axl started out as a digital artist in 2016, opening his own studio in Shanghai in 2018. Thereafter he decided to continue working as a solo director from 2019. It was at this point where Revenant’s creative ambitions resonated with the content Axl was producing and since then they have worked collaboratively, exploring new ways of delivering truly unique styles, ideas and original stories.
